It started back in March when LAUSD support workers went on strike. Since then, we've seen dockworkers at the Ports of LA and Long Beach ... fast food and hotel workers .... actors and writers are still on strike.

And there is a common theme here:  workers that had been earning solid middle-class wages arguing that it's simply not enough anymore.
