The country's economy grew at a nearly 5 percent annual rate in the July through September quarter which was more than double the previous quarter. Yet, there's this disconnect because lots of regular people aren't feeling so good. In fact, more and more people are now late on things like car payments because of high interest rates.  Aleksandar Tomic is an associate dean and economist at Boston College.
