One thing that the death of Tyre Nichols in Memphis has in common with some other instances of police brutality: an official police report that looks nothing like what the videos show.
Memphis officers said in their report that Nichols started a fight with them and was repeatedly reaching for officers' weapons ... two things not shown at all in videos.
We've seen this again and again after the deaths of suspects in police custody.
It's just the latest example where videos of police officers in action don't match up at all with the official incident reports.
