Type 2 Diabetes is a problem that is massively growing here in the U.S. and that has a lot of doctors worried. The latest numbers show one in seven American adults has Type 2 diabetes now, up from one in 20 in the 1970s.
40 percent of young adults will be diagnosed with it at some point in their lives. Some doctors say medical care simply isn't enough. Doctor Betul Hatipoglu is a professor of medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She's also the medical director of the Diabetes & Obesity Center at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
