Everyone seems to like turtles. Lots of people like them so much that it's creating a big demand for them as pets. 

That's not necessarily a good thing though. Wildlife experts say because of that demand, there's been an increase in turtle poaching which is contributing to the global decline of rare freshwater turtle and tortoise species. With us is Lou Perrotti, director of conservation programs at Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island. His zoo is watching over 16 small little turtle hatchlings that were confiscated in a recent wildlife bust.
