Over the weekend a Texas doctor admitted, in an op-ed piece published in the Washington Post, to performing an abortion in Texas that is now illegal under that state's new restrictive law.

Part of the Texas law allowed anyone to file suit against a doctor suspected of performing an abortion after the allowable 6-week window---sure enough, a pair of lawsuits were quickly filed against the Texas doctor.

The law allows successful plaintiffs to collect at least $10,000 for every illegal abortion that is exposed and does not require the individual to have any connection to the patient or defendant.

Oscar Stilley is the man who filed the first lawsuit--he is, by his own description, a "disbarred and disgraced" attorney in Arkansas.
