U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has made an unannounced visit to Ukraine. He's there to discuss helping the country prosecute Russians accused of war crimes. 


This comes as Russia says it captured two Americans who were fighting alongside Ukrainians. They were there on their own, not part of any official U.S. military operation. A spokesman for Vladimir Putin says he wouldn't guarantee they won't face the death penalty. Can and would the U.S. try to help free them?
