The race for mayor of LA is basically coming down to two candidates--Congresswoman Karen Bass and business mogul Rick Caruso. That will likely be made official following next Tuesday's primary election. 

Caruso is among the most prominent businesspeople in the city but he has no publicly elected political experience here. That doesn't seem to bother many voters though, according to recent polls, or the celebrities who've endorsed him such as Snoop Dogg and Kim Kardashian.
