No matter how you felt about religious broadcaster Pat Roberston, there's no denying his outsized influence on American politics over the last several decades. Robertson died this morning at the age of 93-years-old. He founded and built up the powerhouse Christian Broadcasting Network ... he was an ordained Southern Baptist minister ... and he ran for president in 1988, actually beating George H.W. Bush in several primary states. Robertson was a singular force in creating and driving the religious right and Christian coalition movements.
