We've been discussing the problems and criticisms of remote learning throughout the COVID pandemic--almost no one was a big fan of doing school over Zoom.  And yet when LAUSD high schools reopened their classrooms for in-person learning at the beginning of April, there was no rush of students to get back on campus.

In fact, new data shows that a meager 7-percent of LAUSD high school students chose to go back to classrooms; that's compared with 30-percent of elementary school kids and 12-percent of middle school kids who went back.
