Reopening schools is perhaps the biggest hurdle to returning to relatively normalcy in this country, and there's mounting evidence that in-classroom learning is not as risky as first thought.  The CDC today published new research showing little evidence of community spread of COVID-19 in areas where students and teachers were back in classrooms during the Fall months.

The CDC team reviewed data from studies in the United States and abroad and found that schools had much greater success at holding COVID transmission, unlike nursing homes or offices.  But teachers unions remain skeptical that their members can be kept safe.
