There are a lot of struggling actors, writers, directors and supporting crew members in Hollywood right now ... with a slowdown in film and television production that has now lasted for well over a year.

But managers, agents and lawyers are also hurting for business.

We checked in with Elsa Ramo ... she's an entertainment lawyer representing studios like Skydance, New Line and Imagine Entertainment.  

She said the slowing production hurts agents and managers just like their actor and writer clients.

Ramo tells us agents and managers could likely see the production slowdown coming before actors and writers.

She says that  managers and agents are turning to social media content creators.

But will that be steady and reliable work? ... It's too early to tell.

So far in 2024, box office revenues are down almost 25-percent compared to this time last year.
