LAUSD's School Board is holding a pivotal vote this afternoon that could upend the way that dozens of charter schools do business in the district ... and it has to deal with sharing space on campuses.
Under an old voter-approved proposition, public schools in California have to make space available on their campuses to charters. LAUSD is looking to exempt some 346 schools ... in some of the city's poorest and most under-served communities ... from having to share space with charters.
