KNX BIG STORY: Buying a home is much different for Millennials

UCLA has picked its new Chancellor.

Julio Frenk, who had been serving as president of the University of Miami, will become UCLA's first ever Latino chancellor. 

Frenk, who was born in Mexico and served as that country's Minister of Health, will be taking over UCLA at perhaps the most divisive time in the school's history.

Outgoing Chancellor Gene Block, along with most of the university's leadership, managed to anger and alienate just about everyone ... after a month of contentious pro-Palestinian protests on campus, which often resulted in violence.

Andrea Kasko is a professor of bioengineering at UCLA ... she's also chair of UCLA's Academic Senate.

For the third time in American history, the U.S. Attorney General has been held in contempt of Congress.

On a party line vote today, the Republican majority voted to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress over his refusal to turn over audio recordings of a special counsel interview with President Joe Biden.

Garland has turned over the transcripts of Biden's interview, but has resisted the audio tapes ... over fears that they'll be used for political purposes.

Eric Holder, a Democrat, was held in contempt in 2012; as was William Barr, a Republican, in 2019.

Alberto Gonzales WAS Attorney General of the United States, under President George W. Bush ... but he was NOT held in contempt of Congress.
