Hotel workers authorize a potential strike

As writers mull over the tentative contract between the Writers Guild and the Alliance for Motion Picture and Television Producers ... Hollywood is still not ready to get back to work.

There still remains a major strike to settle.

There are still over 115,000 actors on the picket lines, as producers are set to turn their sights to working out a contract with SAG-AFTRA.

But now that the writers and studio executives have found areas common ground ... could the actors be far behind?

It's California versus Florida on  November 30th.

Well ... more accurately it's California's governor, Gavin Newsom, going against Florida's executive, Ron DeSantis, in a debate that's been much discussed for several months now.

The debate will be moderated by Sean Hannity and aired during his Fox News show.

Project Lincoln co-founder Mike Madrid tells KNX News that for DeSantis ... who is trailing Donald Trump badly in the Republican presidential primary ... this is an act of desperation.

When it comes to Newsom's motivations for the debate, Madrid thinks if he beats up DeSantis during the debate it will cement the Californian's status as a national Democratic leader.

Plus, Madrid thinks that Newsom genuinly dislikes DeSantis and wants to rough him up on stage.
