Montana Republican Senator Steve Daines has made some alarming new claims about security vulnerabilities along the U.S.-Mexico border ... but the thing is, they're not necessarily new claims at all.

Daines said today that he's talked with a high ranking official from a Central Asian country who claimed that at least 50-thousand migrants from that region have come across the southern border over the last year ... and within that group of migrants could very likely be sleeper cell terrorist agents.
