This might sound familiar to you:  another warning is going out about the vulnerability of older concrete buildings to collapse during a major earthquake.

But this is a different type of buildings.

These are LA county owned buildings ... like the Hall of Administration in downtown LA ... like several local libraries and fire stations.  

These are facilities that would be critical in steering Los Angeles through the aftermath of a major quake.
