Do you ever get mad when there's traffic suddenly but for seemingly no reason? No accident, no debris, not too many cars on the road but they're all stopped or slowed down. It turns out humans aren't very good at navigating dense traffic. But a new experiment finds artificial intelligence might be our way out of these annoying traffic jams. With us is William Barbour, research scientist at the Institute for Software Integrated Systems at Vanderbilt University. He worked on this experiment.
