Are your credit card balances higher now? If they are, you're part of the rest of the bottom 90 percent of the country when it comes to taking on more debt. 

Federal Reserve data shows debt soared by 300 billion dollars over the last year for that bottom 90 percent--the largest annual gain on record. The top 10 percent?
