After the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes were settled in the Fall, there was excited expectations that Hollywood film and television productions would immediately spring back to life ... and the jobs for actors and writers would be plentiful.
Turns out that studios and production companies have not been especially eager to start spending again. There have been big budget cutbacks, lots of show cancellations ... and a lot of frustrated actors and writers.
