A 4-year-old girl is kidnapped while having lunch with her grandmother in Santa Monica

Many people snickered a bit, maybe thinking they were hearing things when Mayor Karen Bass proposed a car-free L.A. '28 Olympics.

She has since walked back the lofty goal a tad, saying there will be some cars, but she hopes people will take public transportation to and from the games.

KNX News' Craig Fiegner spoke with a few council members who were in Paris with the mayor for the games to find out what they learned and how attainable the car-free dream really is.
