FUSD - Field Trip Cuts

Fresno Unified's argument is that ending centralized field-trip funding was a budget necessity and consistent with practices in many other districts. However, the controversy generated intense opposition from parents and educators, and within a week the district reversed course. Field trips for the 2026-27 school year will now continue through funding provided by the Foundation for Fresno Unified Students.
