Cesar Chavez Celebrations Cancelled

The United Farm Workers and César Chávez Foundation have canceled Cesar Chavez Day celebrations after learning of “deeply troubling” allegations of abuse involving minors linked to the late farm workers' leader even though no direct reports have surfaced. The groups say they’ll convene a safe, confidential process for any potential victims, and are directing supporters toward immigration‑justice service events instead of traditional festivities.
