EOH - Houston Symphony

View descriptionShare

Eli Escobar interviewed CEO/Executive Director of Houston Symphony, Mr. John Mangum. Jones Hall for the Performing Arts, which opened in 1966 and received international acclaim for its innovative design and technology, is now 56 years old and needs to be significantly updated. The Foundation for Jones Hall (FJH) is spearheading a $50 million upgrade for Jones Hall, Houston’s iconic performing arts center, focused on significantly improving patron, musician and artist experiences. This renewal is designed to bring the building up to current standards in technology and operations, while incorporating modern amenities. Renovation work in 2022 will serve as a bridge to 2023 and 2024 and will prepare us for very visible, experiential changes to come next year. Future phases will further improve the performance environment as well as the patron experience.  For information on Jones Hall you can email ksterling@sterlingnonprofits.com, and for the Houston Symphony, visit houstonsymphony.org. And I encourage you to come out and experience the improvements and enjoy the work we are putting on stage when we return in September.
