About Mr. Jim:
Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. My wife Jocelyn and I have 3 kids and love inspiring others towards greater imagination and curiosity.

Well, friends, are you ready for part two of this amazing space dinosaur adventure? Me too, Let's go. As Quinn looked around after hearing what sounded like a dinosaur roar, she didn't know exactly what to do. Wait a second, that can't be real. That can't be true. I must be hearing things. But then it happened again. Nope, that was definitely real. That was real. Quinn started running back to her spaceship. She didn't know if this dinosaur was gonna dry and eater or chaser or I don't know, but she had to get back to that spaceship as fast as possible. As a paleontologist, sure, you worked with a lot of dinosaurs, but they're all dead. You don't. Paleontologists don't work with living, roaring dinosaurs. They only worked with dinosaur bones. So This was a very different kind of experience for her. Whoa, oh no. As Quinn was running back to the spaceship as fast as she could, she accidentally tripped on our big rock and fell down into a big hole. Done done, done? Oh no, what do I do? Get get out? It's it's such a deep hole. She had full in down into a small little cavern in the moon, like a big hole in the ground and on the moon. It must have been created by like an asteroid crashing onto the Moon and making this big hole. But she was in a lot of trouble. Boom boom boom. All of a sudden, the ground started to shake, and then she looked around. She had a bad feeling about this. Oh dear, you don't think that's a dinosaur. There's not things as real dinosaurs here, oh dear. And just then a giant nor miss dinosaur head peered over the ledge and down into the hole where she was and said, why hello, down there, you look like you could use some help. Quinn was speechless then, not only this is the first time she'd ever seen a real dinosaur, but it talked and it actually sounded kind of nice. But she was still frozen into harror. Oh, don't worry, I'm not here to eat you. Come on up, and there's a lot to explain. There's a lot that you don't know about the moon, but come on up. The dinosaur turned around and lowered his very long tail. Quinn didn't know what to do exactly. She was afraid that this might be a trap, but she didn't know what other options that she had, so she grabbed onto the dinosaur's tail and he pulled her out of that big hole. The dinosaur gently sets her down on the surface of the Moon, and now she looked around. She couldn't believe it. There were now several other dinosaurs all standing around her, but they've all looked very nice. I can understand how this might be a little terrifying for you, since you don't know who we are. Yeah, you could say that, said Quinn. Um, So let me get this straight. You're a family of dinosaurs that live on the moon or have I lost my mind? No, you have not lost your mind. Yes, we are a family of dinosaurs. Are families have lived on here for many, many years? How long have you been here? Like? And wait, why are you here? It doesn't make any sense? Well, you see a very very long time ago. Our family of dinosaurs left Earth, and our job now is to protect the Moon from aliens. Aliens, yes, aliens, who are trying to take over the Moon to make it their new home. But they do not have good plans for it. This is all very very confusing. I came here to look for dinosaur fossils, but I somehow found real dinosaurs that we don't even have real dinosaurs on Earth. Oh, of course you do. You see, our dinosaurs now are just very good at hiding. It's kind of like how you didn't see us when you first landed here on the moon. And my little brother Jimmy just forgot to clean up his footprints. That is what gave us all the way. Holy smokes, this is amazing, said Quinn. Um, could you show me around? Can you um show me? Like, where do you guys live? I need to see it. I want to see where dinosaurs live. Please please please, Oh, I certainly come. Come. The dinosaurs all motioned for her to follow. As she followed them down this valley, it came to a large opening of a big, big cave, and inside she saw so many dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes and you see here, this is one of our telescope stations. This is how we take turns keeping an eye out for aliens that might want to take over the Moon. So I don't understand why, why do we aliens want to come to the Moon and what what are they going to do with it? Well, we're not exactly sure, but we have received a communication from the aliens where they are wanting to make the Moon their new base so that they can take over planet Earth. WHOA, So by protecting the Moon from the aliens, you're really protecting us Sun Earth exactly. And and I did mention there are many other dinosaurs that still live on planet Earth, and so we're looking out for them as well. The rest of the day, Quinn spent learning all about dinosaurs from actual dinosaurs. It's a world of difference when you look at a fossil and try to learn from it versus talking to the actual creature of a dinosaur. Wow, if you could go back in time and to talk to anything, what would you want to learn from? I think dinosaur has ranked pretty high up my list. I want to see what they actually looked like. And we're like and oh, so many questions, but that day, Quinn had all over questions, all over dinosaur questions answered. She couldn't wait to get back home and share with everybody what she had learned. And as she was waving goodbye to her new friends, her new dinosaur friend gave her a present. Here. I think I overheard you talking about you liking our teeth. Well, here's one of my teeth that I lost quite a while ago. It's yours. Now are you serious? This is so? This is the best day of my life, shouted Quinn as she held up this chinore miss dinosaur tooth up in the air. She waved goodbye to her dinosaur friends, got back in the spaceship, and blasted off her planet Earth. Wow, what an amazing adventure that Quinn has just gone on. This was an amazingly surprising journey for her to space. But my guess is, even though this is the end of our story, I think it's just the beginning of her dinosaur space adventures that lie ahead the end. Great job, you listened all the way to the end, and you know what time of days it's time, forkard shout out. So I want to say hey to Graham and Max from Michigan Tudah and Joseph from Los Angeles, Elena and Nico from California, Madeline from Oregon, Adeline from Connecticut, Marcus and Sloan from Alberta, June from California, and Malachi and Alex from Maryland. I'm so glad that you're all in the k Stories family. Down the spy team, we could not stop Doctor Stinky Breath and his crew without you, my friends. Well, you have a super duper day and I will see you on our next tad Richer. Bye. M
