About Mr. Jim:

Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. My wife Jocelyn and I have 3 kids and love inspiring others towards greater imagination and curiosity.

Hey friends, it's mister jim Man. Welcome back to Kit Short Stories. If this is your first time, welcome to the family. We are the podcast that turns your ideas into an amazing adventure every single day. You know, we couldn't even exist without imaginations from kids just like you. So if you have an idea for a story, I'd love to see it. Check down in the show notes below for how you can submit your own story idea and maybe we'll turn it into an awesome adventure. And parents, if you're new to kids podcasting, I'm gonna challenge you to listen to podcasting for five days in a row with your kids. It's going to increase their imagination, decrease screen time, and we're gonna have a lot of fun along the way. Are you guys ready for today's adventure?

Me too.

Let's go deep within space. There was this lar system where each planet had very unique moons. There were a triangle moons and square moons, heart shaped moons, and even leaf shaped moons. But there was one planet with the coolest moon by far. Their moon was in the shape of a flower. This planet, appropriately called Planet Moonflower, was a helpful planet. Their space force was made of kind children who answered calls of help from all across space. One day, Space Command received a signal for help from space, but they couldn't find its exact location. It wasn't coming from any of the surrounding planets or from the flower shaped moon. In fact, it seemed to be moving about space.

Is everyone ready for left off?

Space Command asked all of the kid astronauts on planet Moonflower. The kids ran around collecting last minute items for their flight before climbing aboard the spaceship and buckling in. Ready, replied the Moonflower kids once they were all suited up and strapped into their spaceship.

Okay, remember we aren't sure who was calling for help or where they're calling from, so be on the lookout for anything suspicious. Your spaceship will be able to pick up any signals sent while you were up there. I'll begin the countdown three two one. Blast off.

The rockets roared, and the Moonflower kids were pushed back into their seats as the spaceship's rockets launched them into space. Sh whoa, they shouted in excitement as they flew through Moonflowers atmosphere. Once they entered space, the ship began to slow down, and they had buckled from their seats.

Whoa look at the petals on the moon. Wow, they're so beautiful.

One of the astronauts called out to the others, and everyone admired the colorful flower moon as they sailed around it. It was quiet for a bit until the help signal reached the ship. It's coming from over there, cried one of the astronauts. Everyone scrambled toward a window and peeked out. They saw something flashed through the sky behind the Moon. After it, they shouted as one of them punched the coordinates into the spaceship's navigational system. They zoomed behind the Moon and looked around. Further away, they spotted the flaming tail of something. The signals it's coming from that. The spaceship followed after it, wit it to move faster. The spaceship picked up speed in response. The flaming tail became longer and larger the closer they got to it. They could now see that it was a comet. Finally, the moon Flowership caught up and flew right beside it. On top of the comet was someone was trying to hold on to it. Oh dear, has it zoomed through space?

Up there?

Look, there's an alien. They must have set the help signal.

The astronauts watched as the purple and green alien lifted one of its forearms to wave the other three arms, said firmly gripped to the speeding comet.

Hand.

It's two antennas were blowing behind it from the speed it was traveling. We need to help it. Does anyone have any ideas? I'll go out and jump onto the comet. Yeah, I can do that, But how will you get back? Then you'll be stuck forever.

I can lean out over the outside and throw in the rope towards the alien. Then we can pull them back.

Do you see the size of the alien?

No?

Way? And then yet another astronaut spoke up Little plums brought together at a loon. The astronauts all agreed that teamwork was the best, and together they found a rope and got in line. All wind up. The astronauts held onto the rope before jumping one by one out of the spaceship toward the comment that was zipping along beside them. The Moonflower team landed one by one onto the comet and grabbed the alien's hands. Once a few of them had gotten hold of the alien, they tied the rope around him, and they all held the rope tightly, and one by one they jumped back off of the comet towards their spaceship. Almost everyone was back inside. Oh no one. Then the alien slipped.

Ah.

Everyone pulled out of the rope out ball.

The Moonflower astronauts pulled the rope into the spaceship while the alien held on tightly with all four hands. Finally, the alien reached the spaceship and they all worked together to pull him inside.

Bababe aw babybe, thank you babybe, Moonflower kids, thank you for big man saying Bab's read that babit right away comment.

The alien was obviously very tired from this horrendous adventure, and they all gave him a big hug.

Sh Moonflower team, do you read me? Have you found the source of the help signal? Yes, they responded, perfect timing. Well, it's time to fly home for a snack time whoo.

They all cheered. Then one of the astronauts turned to the alien, would you like to have snack with us? The alien nodded happily, so the Moonflower astronauts and their new alien friend all set their course back to planet Moonflower, where they ate their snack and celebrated another successful mission thanks to teamwork. Wow, working together as a team is definitely awesome. You're way stronger when you work together with others and that definitely comes in handy when you're needing to rescue an alien flying through space. Well, that may be the end of our story, but it is definitely not the end of teamwork. Next time you see an opportunity to work together as a team, remember that alien and that will give you an extra boost of teamwork the end. Great job, you listened all the way to the end, and you know what time it is.

It's time for kid shout out.

So I want to say it to Avery from Washington. Hello, Ben and Florida, Kennedy and Kentucky, Brindley and Adelaine from Ontario, Canada, and Emmett from Kentucky. I'm so glad that you're all on the kitschirt Story's family. We could not have this much fun with imagination without you, my friends. Will you Yes, you have a zuber dubernet and guess what, there's another story waiting for you. I'll see you on the next one bye
