We live in South Carolina, and we love story time. Um. We we all know the battle that screen time can be and we want to throw back to to you know, when we grew up in the eighties and nineties of just listening to stories on cassette tapes. And that's really the inspiration to this. And I love that the creativity comes from kids all around the world who send in these crazy ideas and then I get to turn them into an awesome adventure. Well, my friends, are you ready for today's amazing story. Me too, Let's go. It was time for Ingrid and her little brother Wally to start getting ready for bed. All right, let's go brush our teeth, Wally, Come on, said Ingrid. They ran upstairs to the bathroom to grab their toothbrush and toothpaste, and they started to brush their teeth. Then they flossed them and made them nice and clean, which we all know that doctor Stinky Breath does not like it when we have clean teeth. He wants us to have stinky breath. Well, they had finished that, got on their pajamas and got ready for bed. Oh wait, I gotta go feed my fish, said Ingrid. She ran back downstairs, and she had just gotten a whole bunch like a family of beta fish. Do you know what a beta fishes? They're very pretty fish. They have very flowy fins, and sometimes they're blue and purple and red, and they have they come in all kinds of different colors. And she had about four of them. All right, good night fish ees. Her favorite was rainbow, Good night Rainbow. And she put in just a little bit of food. You don't want to put in too much food in a beta fish tank. But she put in just the right amount, and then she went upstairs and grabbed her blank ease, said good night to her brother and her parents, and fell fast asleep. The next morning, she woke up and raced downstairs, and what happened? She looked in the tank with the baita fish and it was completely empty. Oh no, have they been stolen? Don? Don don, who would do such a thing, she shouted. Wally came running over. Oh no, where did the fish go? Where's rainbow? Said Wally. I don't know, said Ingrid, But we have got to figure this out. Let's get our spy gear and start looking for clues. They ran up to their room and grabbed their spy gear, came back down. They started with a magnifying glass. You know what a magnifying glass does. Yeah, it helps you see things that are really smoke. It makes much bigger so that it's easier to see. And she held the magnifying glass up to her left eye and closed her right eye and started to examine, m hm, the scene of the crime. That's usually where there's a clue, right, And she looked around Wally, Look look at this, look look look look. She handed Wally the magnifying glass, and he saw it too. There were three purple fingerprints on the fish tank, Ingrid, you don't mean did the Purple Ninja's steal our fish? I think that's exactly what that means. As Ingrid and Wally ran upstairs as fast as they could, they knew they had to call it into h Q. They grabbed their spy deeper and said, h Q, HQ, come in, we have a problem. Oh what's going on, Ingrid and Wally? It's ready to hear you again. This is HQ. What's the problem. Something darribile happen last night, and we're pretty sure the Purple Ninjas stole all of my fish. Oh really, that's terrible. What what kind of fish were they? They were beta fish and my favorite one's name is Rainbow. There are four of them. Did you say beta fish? Um? Yes, I did, said Ingrid. Oh no, you see, we've been monitoring the Purple Ninjas who have been stealing beta fish from all over the world. There's a long old legend of the magical powers of beta fish, and we're pretty sure that the Purple Ninjas are trying to crack the code. Crack the code, said Ingrid. Yes, we need to stop them before the unlock the magical powers of Beta Fish. We're gonna send you all the information we know, but it's gonna be on you to solve this. One overned out. Oh no, Wally, did you hear that? Yeah? I did, said Wally, What are we gonna do? All right? I think all right, let's see what kind of information they send over. Ingrid and Wally ran over to their spy beeper printer that printed out all the information that they were sending over from HQ, and she grabbed the papers and looked and holy smokes, look at this. There's some kind of picture of like a floating cloud castle. It's maybe like the blimp that's what takes them to this. Oh, I bet that's totally what it is. They have some kind of cloud castle up there, and that's where they do these experiments. I bet that is where Rainbow and all the other fish are. We gotta do this, let's go. Ingrid and Wally grabbed everything that they needed, including their jet packs, because we all know we need jet packs that we're going to the clouds, right yeah, three two one whoa. Ingrid and Wally blasted off to the clouds. And they forgot that it was on turbo boost mode. Whoa, it was going way too fast. And finally they switched off the turbo boost. WHOA, that was crazy, said Wally. I know, I forgot that I was cleaning them, and I think I accidentally bumped the turbo boots button. Oops, said Ingrid. Pretty soon they flew through the clouds and it was impossible to miss this cloud castle was ginormous, and there it was. They saw some purple nines coming in and out of the side door, and so they wanted to sneak over to one of the windows and peek inside. Ingrid was the first one at the window and peered inside the window. All right, Wally, we had to stay really quiet. We don't want them to see us. And sure enough, inside the room that they were looking through in the window, there were beta fish and there's rainbow. I mean there's rainbow, whispered Ingrid. She almost forgot that she shouldn't scream, but she was so excited to see rainbow again. All right, what's the plan, said Wally. I don't know, but we gotta get in there and rescue all of the beta fish. It looks like they have at least like twenty Wow, what are they doing? They're all kinds of test tubes and wires and lights and all kinds of weird looking equipment, but it looks like they were definitely trying to unlock the magical powers of Beta Fish. Ingrid and Wally snuck in through a side door into the room. They had brought some little bags filled with water, and they carefully picked up all the Beta fish and put them in the bags. They had to get out of there in time. Hey, what are you doing here? Get out of here? Wait? Put Thouse back. The Purple Ninjas had spotted them. Run run, running, Grid and Wally, go go go. Ingrid and Wally grabbed all of their gear and all of the Beta fish and snuck out just in time as they blasted off with their jet packs. What are they gonna do now? Ingrid and Wally were blasting off, fleeing away from the Purple Ninjas, who were way too slow to keep up. Ingrid peered down into the bag and there was Rainbow. Rainbow. The Beta fish was looking right at her, and all of a sudden, she heard a small voice, that's it, bring us back round our magical pond. Oh Rainbow was asking them to bring all these beta fish back to this magical pond. That means the magic is real and yes, Ingrid and Wally need to rescue all these beta fish and bring them back to their home in the wild. Rainbow led Ingrid and Wally to the very super secret pond that was in the middle of a jungle. She released all the beta fish and they waved a very happy goodbye. Great job, Ingrid and Wally. You guys saved the beta fish and stopped the Purple Ninjas from stealing all their powers. I wonder what kind of magical powers that beata fish have. Well, well, I guess we'll never know. The secret will stay with Ingrid and Wally the end. Great job, you listened all the way to the ending. You know what time it is. It's time for Kid shout out.
