The objectives of this programme are to:
•	Commemorate TVET college week
•	Encourage learners to apply on time for opportunities at Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges
•	Urge listeners to enquire about application dates and post school education processes 
•	Educate learners about what it means to apply and
•	Communicate the importance of complying with the requirements of the TVET Colleges application process

The Khetha Campaign is for high school learners that need information, advice and guidance in making the right career and further education and training choices.
To urge the youth to apply early at their education and training facility of choice, Khetha encourages learners to makes informed decisions when they choose to further their studies. At the same time it encourages learners to apply in a timely fashion in order to avoid disappointment. This is another SABC partnership, a Higher Education and Training Ministerial flagship initiative supported by the Department of Higher Education and South African Qualification Authority (SAQA)
