Objectives of the Programme
The objectives of this programme are to: 
•	Explain what Career Development Services are. 
•	Explain why listeners need to use Career Development Services.
•	Explain what services are offered and how different target groups can benefit from the services. 
•	Explain how the Department promotes its Career Development Services.
•	Challenge all listeners to develop a career plan.

The Khetha Campaign is for high school learners that need information, advice and guidance in making the right career and further education and training choices.
To urge the youth to apply early at their education and training facility of choice, Khetha encourages learners to makes informed decisions when they choose to further their studies. At the same time it encourages learners to apply in a timely fashion in order to avoid disappointment. This is another SABC partnership, a Higher Education and Training Ministerial flagship initiative supported by the Department of Higher Education and South African Qualification Authority (SAQA)
