Andisiwe is currently at home with her first baby who was born prematurely by two months. 

She recently moved to Cape Town where she found a job, but fell pregnant shortly after they made her a permanent staff member, unfortunately, she didn’t qualify for paid maternity leave and is home for 6 months (additional 2 months) on unpaid maternity leave.

With the current lockdown in place, and having had to take maternity leave so early –  there is a lot of uncertainty around whether she will be able to return to work.

Andisiwe needs the money for rent and baby essentials until lockdown is lifted and she is able to get back on her feet.
