Lee Cole returns to the Kfm Top 40 to give Carl Wastie an exclusive sneak peek into his upcoming EP, Letters to Myself, Part 1, dropping on 9 October. He opens up about the stories behind his new tracks "Risk" and "Honest", exploring vulnerability, relationships and the importance of trusting your gut. He also reveals why he's leaning into his R&B influences, embracing his signature falsetto and experimenting with a fresh musical direction. Plus, Carl puts his soulful skills to the ultimate test by challenging him to turn some of the cheesiest pop songs ever written, including "Barbie Girl" and "YMCA", into smooth R&B love songs. And just like that, R&Lee was born!
