South African indie folk-pop artist David Derman joins Carl Wastie on the Kfm Top 40 to chat about his heartfelt new single, "Morning Light".

Following the success of his debut track Old Friend - which racked up over 100,000 streams and landed spots on major SA radio charts. 

David returns with an intimate, emotional song inspired by the idea of becoming a parent one day. Written shortly after becoming an uncle, Morning Light reflects on imagined love, legacy, and the bond between parent and child.
