Brentwood Council President Dennis Troy is stepping down nearly two weeks after he was involved in a heated argument outside a bar caught on video:

Witnesses say Troy was spewing profanity and used a slur outside Theme Lounge on December 21st. The video shows some pushing and shoving. Troy said the dispute was about an incident involving his son. One of the persons involved in the altercation has filed a hate crime complaint with the state attorney general.
