Many expected that students were going to be affected by all those pandemic-caused school closures, but new research shows that students this past year even declined from the year before, demonstrating just how lasting the effects from the pandemic have been on students.
Educators are now tasked with the mission of how to fix this, as they continue to try and play catch up in the country's classrooms.
