The term ‘white-collar crime’ was coined in the late 1930s, by U.S. sociologist Edwin Sutherland. While a common misconception that business-related crimes are somehow victimless, our next guest says white-collar crimes are harmful from an economic impact perspective with negative outcomes for society on the whole.
