The UN Security Council recently passed a resolution demanding the end of the siege of Al Fashir in Sudan, where hundreds of thousands of civilians are sheltering.
This comes as it's now been more than a year since Sudan has been ravaged by a civil war between the military dictatorship and the Rapid Support Forces, a powerful militia that has seized much of the country.
