Uber has recently overhauled the way it accepts rides, giving drivers the option to turn down passengers who want to go to a destination considered less desirable. 

Drivers can now refuse to take passengers to San Francisco's Bayview or to East Oakland..for example.

Advocates say this can lead to discrimination.
