The U.S. slapped new sanctions on Russia today, targeting two major Russian banks as well as more members of Putin's inner circle, including his daughters and the wife and daughter of Russian Foreign minister Sergei Lavrov.

On a global level, NATO nations have hit an impasse on strategy in Ukraine, and the only thing they seem to agree on is that the war is nowhere close to ending.
