This may be the 'last chance' to release Israeli hostages in a ceasefire deal

While all eyes are on the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in the Middle East, and says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netantyahu agreed to an American bridging proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza. 

This comes after months of back and forth negotiations amongst three mediators, and now it's up to Hamas to seal the deal.
