Today, U.S. auto safety regulators opened an investigation into Tesla's recall of more than 2 million vehicles in order to install new Autopilot safety measures.

Tesla's Autopilot is intended to enable cars to steer, accelerate and brake automatically within their lane... but it but does NOT make vehicles autonomous.

The annual "Social Tracking of Asian Americans in the U.S.," otherwise known as the STAATUS Index, is the leading study on perceptions and attitudes towards the Asian community. 

To talk about the study and its findings, KCBS Radio's Bret Burkhart and Patti Reising were joined by Dr. Russell Jeung, Professor of Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University AND Co-Founder of Stop AAPI Hate.

AAPI Heritage Month proves an opportune time to counteract hate

A study published in the Children's Health Care journal revealed that children tend to be the least healthy, in the hour after they come home from child care.

The children in the study consumed an average of 290.2 calories during that hour — 20 percent their daily intake and about 22 percent of the day's sugar intake.
