Tech & Business Report: Just how 'intelligent' is Apple's upcoming AI upgrade?

An internal email obtained by The New York Times says that Elon Musk plans to shut X's San Francisco office "over the next few weeks."

The email that was from Linda Yaccarino, X's chief executive, says the employees need to move to existing offices in Palo Alto.

It’s that time of year when families are busy checking off those back-to-school lists making sure their children has the right pencils, notebooks, and backpack.

But even more important than school supplies may be ensuring that your child feels emotionally and mentally prepared for the new start. 

For more about that, KCBS Radio anchor Patti Reising was joined by Dr. Ravi Johar, United Health care Chief Medical Officer.

How to make sure your kids are mentally prepared to go back to school

As Cal Fire crews start to get the Park Fire burning near Chico under control, the attention turns to the aftermath of the massive blaze. 

It remains to be seen how the state's 4th largest wildfire could impact everything from the region's ecosystem to water quality.  

Jacksob Wester is a Civil Engineering Professor at Chico State. He oversaw research published earlier this year looking at the impact on water quality from Camp Fire in Paradise. He joined KCBS Radio  news anchor Holly Quan to talk about how his research relates to the Park Fire.
