While many of us were sleeping, the largest IT outage in history took over the world. Thanks to a software update glitch, cyber-security firm CrowdStrike Holdings crashed Microsoft systems globally, impacting airlines, banks, media networks, and health-care systems. 

While many of the systems have been restored, the event underscores just how cyber-resilient companies are.

These so-called "Disney adults" catch some criticism for their enthusiasm and intensity, but one journalist thinks Disney adults may have found a way to tap into joy in a way the rest of us struggle to do.

The UC Board of Regents just approved a plan for a nearly $1.5 billion dollar expansion of UCSF’s Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland. The new building will triple the number of current inpatient rooms and double the emergency department space.
