Supreme Court shifts discrimination claim standard, sparks concern for diversity initiatives

The Supreme Court unanimously sided with a St. Louis police sergeant in a case that's essentially lowered the bar for proving discrimination claims.

And while the ruling is being heralded as a win for workers, experts say conservative groups are eyeing the new law as a way to dismantle diversity, equity and inclusion work initiatives.
