State and federal partnerships crucial in tackling California fire season

Over 2.5 million acres burned in wildfires throughout California last year.

And with climate change and drought conditions continuing this year, state and federal firefighters are in the midst of another rough season. 

KCBS Radio news reporter Alice Wertz says the head of the U.S. Forest Service believes partnerships are critical in knocking down fires.
