San Francisco is preparing for the much-anticipated APEC summit getting underway this weekend, bringing together 21 countries including the US, China and Russia, in efforts to enhance economic prosperities in an interconnected society.
This year, some experts say this event could be a stepping stone to easing tensions between the US and China, with Presidents Joe Biden and Xi Jinping expected to meet.
