Scientists ramp up research into ice on the moon

Scientists think there could be some ice "hiding" on the moon and have launched a fleet of missions trying to find it.

This comes are more and more research is being devoted to making a space station on the moon less sci-fi plot and more a reality.

For more on this, KCBS Radio's Holly Quan spoke with Paul Hayne, Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences professor at CU Boulder, his team at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics has a goal of understanding where water on the moon came from.
