Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva was cleared to compete in the women's competition today after being suspended for blood doping.
The decision is being criticized by many, including U.S. track star Sha'Carri Richardson, who was banned from competing in this summer's Olympics after testing positive for marijuana. Richardson believes Valieva's relatively forgiving treatment reflects a racially biased double standard.
