President Trump signed off on a new round of sanctions on Iran Monday, targeting Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and eight senior military commanders.

The sanctions are in response to recent attacks on tankers and a U.S. drone, and come after the President backed off of a planned military strike Friday.
