President Biden has signed a congressional resolution ending the US National emergency that was taken up three years ago, a little less than a month before it was set to expire.
This comes as the White House also announces it will be launching a $5 billion program to speed-up innovation for COVID vaccines, showing the administration's efforts to take the US into the next generation of the pandemic.
