Oakland breaks a record of repaving its pothole ridden roads

Oakland is 80 years behind on its infrastructure goals, especially when it comes to updating the city’s 200 miles of paved roads, many of which remain a patchwork of potholes and quick fixes.
 
KCBS Radio's Shannon Golden reports, the city says it reached a record high of re-paving in the last fiscal year, overhauling a total of 47 miles of streets.
